Love the wild side jar. This Is a replacement jar for me. Enjoyed the other one for 3 years, grinding seeds, making raw juices, etc. Wish it didn't have some ridges on the inside which makes it harder to get everything out with my spatula. Also found the slightly bigger opening in the previous jar lid more convenient, but LOVE my Blendtec Blender. Would love it more if it weren't so noisy, but then it probably wouldn't have the muscle I appreciate now.

got this as a freebie for 1000 uses, yay. I prefer this Blendtec over the Vitamix I used to have due to the pitcher shape (I didn't care for tamping). Having the right pitcher for the job is required though for optimal outcome.

Rubber Seal at Base of Blender Jar Disintegrated

The blender worked great for a few months, and then the rubber seal at the base of the blender jar started to disintegrate. Smoke coming out at the jar gear, etc. Now the jar is useless, and it says I'd have to pay $130 for another jar. Big waste of money.

Less noisy than the first jar that came with our blender but still loud enough when grinding frozen items that you want to hold your ears. Love the additional capacity but be care to not overload. Does an excellent job making very smooth smoothies.

We purchased this item as a replacement was necessary for our BlendTec. It is used 2-3 times a day and we have had this item for years only needing to replace it because of a leaking problem. However, it appears that the jar has been improved with a leak-free feature. We are very pleased with this product.

This is the third top I have bought for the same blender. The first I broke and the second I wore out. The other two were the same type that came with the blender. I thought after reading the features of this one I would try it. It takes longer to blend small amounts of frozen fruit and shakes way more than the small one. It also seems louder. I will go back to the original next time.
