Who got sued about copying the Wide Side jar! Who lied to the judge and said they destroyed their jar mold - Vitamix. Don’t support those thief’s they stold the jar design and blades of Blendtec! Vita is was sued millions ! Check it out before you buy! If you have questions let Me know ! Blendtec is the best and Original design! God has blessed Blendtec and will continue! I hate a thief !!!

this is my fourth Blendtec jar for a unit I've owned for about 8 or 9 years, my second WildSide+. We're a family of 5 and the extra capacity makes a huge difference, but with this jar, I'm hoping the spinning mechanism lasts longer than the others. Looks like it will, they've improved the design of the washer or whatever it is that's always disintegrated within a couple of years on the last three jars

We bought our Blendtec almost 6 years ago. We bought this jar last month to replace our WildSide jar. We've had two WildSide jars both had gaskets that failed after 3 years of use. So far, we're happy with the WildSide+ Jar's performance for our frozen beverages.

I bought the blender just over a year ago. We use it daily, mostly for fruit smoothies. The original blender jar stripped out and separated from the bottom. What a mess that made when it blew out in the middle of a blend. I was disappointed how soon this happened. However, I'm glad to get the replacement jar and keep using this awesome blender. I would like to purchase the smaller jar for nut butters and smaller blends, but they are pretty expensive!

Like the looks of the new ones base where the metal meets the plastic, seems a better design over the old one. However I like the older lid better easier for me to get the food off that gets up there without wasting it. Using my old lid until it wears out.

Received my second replacement jar for my 10 year old BlendTec, this time a WildSide+ Jar. Rubber bearing seal on my second jar slowly wore out, and finally deteriorated to the point it was wiggling and leaking too much to use any more.
Exceptionally helpful phone rep who really took care of me, especially as my jar 2 was out of warranty. New jar works great, and much quieter than previous “regular” jar, but in first week is already leaking— especially at high speed and leaving liquid film in jar underside the same color as liquid (usually white like milk I’m using) I’m blending to make smoothies. Molded manufacturing stamp on bottom shows it was just manufactured, so hope it isn’t a defective one. If it continues I will return it.
