Have used Blentec blenders and Wildside jars for several years commercially and just bought 8 new jars. Noticed that the lids seem slightly shallower than the older ones I have, which isn't an issue unless I have the blender at capacity. I worry a bit the lid may blow off, so I set the new lids aside and continue to use the older, deeper lids.
we have had ours for 8 years I think and we beat the heck out of it every day. My only negative is the wild side jar does not last very long, however they have make some changes and it looks great and I am hopeful it will last longer. The motor is powerful and foes through frozen lemons like nothing. you can not go wrong with this blender.
On my third jar and they are very costly yet improving ever so slowly. The bearing assembly at the bottom is lasting a bit longer before becoming wobbly and loose, and the new designed top does not loose shape and come off as the old one did over time. Your jars are just like ink cartridges in a printer. The printer is great value yet the cost of the ink is outrageous, so too are the jars!
