We got this two months ago and we have used it every day since. Initially we used it just for smoothies and were thrilled at the consistency of the smoothie even after using whole nuts and seeds. I bought the Blendtec blender at Costco Online, worth every penny I paid, makes great smoothies, though I find that it works better when I thaw the frozen fruit for about 20-30 mins before using them. It is a treat for my grandchildren in choosing the different smoothies they want and so healthy.
I read from the reviews that some found it to be loud, I don't see that a problem given the quality of smoothie you get. I also use it for tomato sauce and it is amazing. Thank you for this great product, only if the price was more affordable for everyone especially younger families to use for their children to drink healthy drinks.

This is my second designer series blender. My first one is 8 years old and still going strong, but i couldn’t resist the excellent sale price to get one for the cottage. I can’t imagine using anything else :)
