I've had my Blendtec for 2 years. I called support told them about an unusual loose sound. I had them listen to it over the phone. Gave me 2 options: send it back for repairs or swap it with a refurbished one- FREE Shipping! I chose the swap. Had it with in 3 days via UPS. They enclosed the paid return shipping tag. My Blendtec had over 1400 cycles. This "new" one has zero. Runs great, feels brand new. They stand behind their product 100%

Went in half with my girlfriend on this and then after a few weeks If i could do it again i would just buy it myself because I'm afraid she will try to take it if we break up.
Seriously, if you are looking for a blender just spend the $500 and don't look back. It will pay for itself when you realize that you will be making professional quality smoothies and much more at home. We buy bags of frozen fruit and probably make 2 smoothies a day as well as use it as a food processor because it can turn everything into dust!

Bought this Blendtec a few months ago, cause my wife wanted an all purpose blender/juicer (we've had other juicers... waaay too much time in prep and clean up) - this unit really lived up to expectations and then some - from juices, to smoothies, to ice cream and more - most importantly, 15 secs to clean up - we're beyond pleased :))))

I heartily endorse my Blendtec blender! I purchased it seven months ago and have been 100% pleased with it ever since. It works like a charm, cleans up beautifully, and I never worry about blades. I am a "farm to fork" kind of cook and expect all my kitchen tools to work as advertised. The Blendtec blender goes above and beyond for me. What a great superblender!

Since 2007 i've been on a hunt for anything American made. Glad i made the choice to spend my money on this. The preprogramed cycles actually do the job! Cleaning is a snap... no knobs to work around.

One Great Machine

I've had this machine for about 8 months. I've made a couple of soups, salsas, and tons of fruit and/or veggie smoothies. There seems to be nothing it won't blend. It's just so fast, easy and thorough. Using strawberries or flax seeds, there's no sign of the seeds when the smoothie is done! Love the power. Love that it has no buttons or knobs. Cleaning is amazingly easy.
The only negative I had was the noise. It's very loud and seemed to really assault my ears when I first got it. I've gotten much more used to it now and no longer consider it a negative.

Bought the blendtec to replace yet another kitchen blender. The fifth or so that was used primarily for smoothies and margaritas. Lots of research led to this purchase and I am impressed. A little loud (my gun dog runs for cover) when energized but excellent results. Easy to clean. Still experimenting but pleased with the purchase.

Wow, I purchased the Designer series thinking I would make smoothies, juicies, etc. I did not know that it would become the most used appliance in my kitchen. Bread, muffins, soups, ice cream, nut butters and the most amazing smoothies and green juices.
I made what I thought was a good purchase. In actually it was a GREAT purchase!
