Bought on a Costco.ca black Friday deal and included the mini Twister jar. Love the fact they even thought of making a few holes in the base so water didn't collect when in the dishwasher. Blends well and blades aren't sharp to cut you if washed by hand.
We can't love this machine enough! As soon as it was out of the box, I tried everything I could, in the small twister jar, mayo, nut butters and ice cream came out beyond perfect. In the wildside jar, hummus, oat/rice/nut flours blew us away. Smoothies come out perfect (other than us trying to get the ratio of things right), my husband says drinking them feels like a treat, yet nothing but veggies and fruit. Cleaning is so easy, even if you wash it by hand.
This machine I know can do so much more it just takes time learning it and I am, but it is worth every penny. The only con we have is the noise level - this thing could wake the dead, but we built a damper box for now (as we live in an apt or we wouldn't care) and just use it during the day after 10am lol.
It was always my dream to own one of these and I did go back and forth thinking about the big competitor (VM) I read every review on both, watched all the youtube videos and so on. But after speaking with many people I knew who owned the other (VM) I heard nothing but complaints, it would shut down while making nut butters from over heating, smoothies not great and the noise is even louder and the size. Two friends of mine actually gave them away believe it or not.
So give this bad boy a shot you will not be disappointed. Oh FYI the jar will scuff up look foggy, but it is built to take a beating and if you can invest in the large twister jar (my next step).
I got this for gift and love it. It's powerful for sauces and smoothies. Wish it had a small cup to do hot liquids in. I blend my coffee in the morning and find the big jug a bit big. Otherwise, it's great.
