I bought the BlendTec in April this year. I now make 3 types of smoothies a week and put them in the fridge. I have also been making new pie filling recipes, juices, etc. it is my best tool to eating healthier - getting more fruit & veggie helpings every day.

Have muddled through with sub-par blenders for years, suffering icebergs in my frozen drinks and veritable jungle foliage in my green smoothies, I can't rave enough about the Blendtec Designer Series (WildSide). This one makes short work of everything, to the extent that smoothies are now an everyday thing in my house. It's ridiculously easy to clean - no more allowing the jar to sit on the counter hoping it will clean itself. It's still loud - it IS a blender, after all - but FAR quieter than I had expected given its power. My family was so impressed that we spent a good hour exploring the "Will it blend?" channel on YouTube. Love watching cooking shows now or going to a local coffee/smoothie bar and having my kids point out "look Dad: they use a Blendtec". And the soft-touch controls? WAY cool. GREAT JOB!!!
