Just one problem!

The only thing I HATE about my very expensive microwave/convection oven is that the digital clock does not remain on all the time! I wish that could be changed!

Great oven, weird display

I really like this oven. Even heat and temperature controls. My only gripe is the clock does not display all the time and there is no option to make it do so.

I made my purchase to replace my existing GE product . This unit has been excellent and far exceeds the quality than my other unit. Its easy to use and cooks to perfection. This unit looks great in my kitchen and I highly recommend this GE Profile Series . So glad I went with this unit!

Works great but wish the clock was on all the time

So far so good, the Microwave and convection both work good. I think the convection works better than my last Ge Profile but that one wasn't an advantage. Wish the clock would stay on all the time but only stays on when the unit is running. takes a couple more clicks for the microwave but overall works great.

Simply amazing

We moved and had to get a new Advantium microwave because we missed the Speed settings so much. We had the first unit for 7 years before moving. The refurbished second generation oven we had for only 4 years before the turntable stopped turning and it also stopped heating, Unfortunately, it was long past Mfg's warranty and we had not purchased an extended warranty. With this third gen. unit, we bought the 5 year extended warranty, although we fully expect at least 10 years use out of this Advantium (my friend has had his for 13 years).
We love the Advantium for cooking pizza, cookies, chicken wings and anything else that should have a nice crispy exterior and a moist interior - all at a fraction of the time in a regular oven (conventional or convection). Brown and serve rolls come out better than anyone can believe. Our guests are amazed at the superior cooking performance - everybody wants one.

Poor Design/Quality of Handle

We installed this appliance less than 2 months ago...the handle has already broken. We are a family of 2 adults, do not use the microwave daily and certainly are careful with opening the door. I was surprised to learn it is plastic! And the part is backordered for the next 6 weeks.
I do like the appearance of the appliance and the functioning of it but I am concerned about the 1 year warranty--given the handle broke so quickly. I am very interested in hearing from GE about plans to stand behind their quality after the warranty is over.
