Excellent microwave/convection/speedcook

Bought this a couple of months ago to replace a very old GE profile microwave/ convection over the stove unit that we loved. We are used to true European convection cooking so after reading the negative reviews on the micro/convection units decided to go with the advantium. So glad we did since it is closer to the previous unit we had. Very little learning curve after thoroughly ready the instructions. The speedcook option very handy and useful even for toasting bread. Only negative is the clock does not stay on but have found a work around for this. Turn on cooktop lite then open microwave and clock stays on. Yeah!!!!!!!!! We are very pleased with this product and hopefully it will last as long as our 20+ year older unit.

I bought this to replace my toaster oven and over-the-hood microwave, and to give me a second convection oven. It is wonderful! In the oven mode it heats up very quickly, and it can accommodate even a large chicken. I was particularly pleased to see the quality of the toast it produces with its halogen light technology—I gained a foot and a half of counterspace by getting rid of my toaster oven. It does everything I wanted. Yay!

Multi functional

I bought it this year to replace the advantium I purchased about 12 years ago. This oven microwaves and convection bakes and has the speed cook feature, which means I use my big oven a lot less. My only complaint, the time of day doesn't show up when you are not using the microwave. When it is just resting there is a blank screen. Fortunately my oven below displays a clock.

After much research I decided to buy the Advantium unit and I am very happy with it. My only complaint is you can't have the clock function on at all times, as I found that convenient on my old microwave.

Flexible oven & microwave features.

Provides options for baking, cooking, and reheating. Pro: Menu selections of cooking a variety of food types. Con: Microwave is not as powerful as my countertop model. Longer heat / cook times are needed.
