This microwave does everything, even bakes cookies. Have had it for nearly 10 years and it works like new. Best microwave I've owned.

The 120 V Microwave is Underpowered

The 120 V model is underpowered - I should have purchased the 240 V model.

Best appliance in the kitchen

We bought this appliance 6 months ago. Daily we are finding new features. It can time one thing in the kitchen and microwave something different at the same time. The speed cooking is fabulous and we are eating at home more because it's so fast. I am always able to find the food I want on the presets, so there is no guesswork. Popcorn is always perfect. Frozen chicken nuggets are done in a hurry. No more soggy frozen pizzas--the bottoms are crisped and tasty--even the cheap pizzas taste great. I am constantly experimenting and finding you can cook almost anything in this machine. I was skeptical about the money before we bought it, but it's a fabulous investment.

Best microwave ever!

This microwave is awesome! It has three cooking modes, microwave, convection, and speed cooking. The speed cooking options uses a combination of the other modes. It includes a halogen lamp which allows you to quickly cook appetizers and have them come out crisp like you cooked them for much longer in the oven. Many preset cooking options that allow you to choose the food type and it does the rest. Have already recommended this to multiple friends.

came as part of the appliance package with our new house. i do like the features but must admit to using it only as a microwave so far as I like cooking in an oven but the options are fabulous if I ever decide to branch out!

Had to replace the knob already

The is generally a first rate product so I was very surprised that the knob failed and had to be replaced. (The knob would turn fine but quit responding to pressing.) Warranty replacement through the GE website chat line was fairly easy. I had a similar model in my previous home and have griped about the limitations of the microwave in my new home ever since. My husband bought me a new GE for Christmas and I love having the convection features again.
