Hard to learn how to use other then Microwave mode

We bought this a few months ago and have have real difficulty
learning the speed cook and conventional functions combined with
the microwave to cook stuff. The cook book we got now out of print was CY2005 and there was nothing specific for our model.

Love This Microwave

I love the SpeedCook feature on this microwave. I’m just getting started with using it. With three kids and a busy schedule, this feature is helpful for making sure we still eat healthy meals on a tight schedule. I know not having the clock show all the time is an energy saving feature, but I would like to have an option to have the clock visible. That is my only complaint. But we do have other clocks in the kitchen. Otherwise I’m super happy with this microwave so far.

Hope Replacement Works Better

Our microwave has had a problem since it was installed. The control pad cuts out and you cannot operate the unit. The only way we can get it to work is to unplug it and re-plug it into the power source. Hopefully the replacement unit will operate without a problem.

Limited Speed Cook Options and No clock display

In 2004 I bought a full size GE Trivection wall oven but couldn't take it when I moved this year. I LOVED that oven and always raved about it but now GE only makes the OTR or small wall oven. I had to get the OTR due to kitchen configuration.
Sadly, I am underwhelmed with it. I wanted to love it but I find it limiting. First, I have to put the metal pan in to use speed cook. This limits what I can cook. It has only a few recipes programmed. For example, I can't figure out how to cook a hot dog. It doesn't give any guidelines on how to create my own. It just says I can create them but how? How much for each lamp???? I guess it's trial and error. My old Trivection just converted a current recipe automatically. I'm pretty disappointed.
The other thing that bugs me is the clock doesn't stay on. I know it's some kind of EPA rule but some appliances seem to have the clock but this model doesn't. This bugs me every time I look at it and see a blank screen.
I bought a 'matching' slide in double oven and guess what? The gray/black colors are different. What's with that?
Oh, and the timer is so low if I'm not right there in a quiet room I can't hear it.

So many features

We love all the different features. The halogen light does a good job when we want some food crispy or brown. The best of all is all the time it saves us.
