Perfect butter cookies everytime

In the past, I would have never used a microwave to bake cookies. it was crunch time and our new GE oven was delayed (newest induction range) so I thought would give the convention microwave a cookie challenge. It took the challenge and surprised the whole family. My husband said he had never seen a full batch of spritz cookies pass the "no brown edges test" until now. We were all extremely pleased. We even pushed the test by doubling up the shelves and using two cookie sheets. This really helped me get through the dozens of cookies I bake every year (the old oven was 1 tray at a time)

Excellent Microwave Upgrade

This microwave is also a convection oven with a crisp feature. No need to use wax paper or cling wrap; if you don't mind switching from glass to metal tray for certain foods, you will hardly even need a regular oven. Great for warming leftovers too.

Although we have had this unit for a while, we have not yet used enough of the features beyond microwave to give an objective evaluation. We have a lot more to learn, and we have received an excellent response when we have called in with questions. We believe we have made a great purchase, but it's too soon to declare it.

We love the flexibility

The cookbook and DVD that came with the Advantium helped understand has many different ways it can be used. Just getting started so haven't tested out the full range. The fan is powerful, something I had been concerned about, and not to noisy on low.
One thing to watch: If you are installing with existing cabinets as we did you may find it needs a bit more clearance on the hinge side than the 30". If we hadn't been able to shift the the adjacent cabinet doors over we would not have been able to open the oven door. Plan for 1/2 inch clearance on the adjacent cabinet front and all will be well.
