Great oven!

We are on our second 240v Advantium. Our first purchase was 2001 and it was time to retire the original. It is truly another oven with significant advantages over a regular oven. It really does cook up to 8x faster with no compromise on quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Irritating.

This is the most irritating microwave I’ve ever owned, and it doesn’t even heat your food any faster to make up for its own annoyances. The clock doesn’t stay displayed, which makes it functionally useless, the timer takes way too long to set, entering cook times takes way too many button presses, the button layout is unintuitive, the buttons themselves take too much pressure to engage, resulting in repeated presses for a single function, and the fan makes a lot of noise without actually intaking enough air to alter the upward direction of steam. I don’t want to spend more money, but I kinda can’t wait for this thing, along with my Samsung fridge, to die so I can justify buying better designed appliances. Stay away from this one!

You need to be a body builder to open the door.

This microwave has had numerous issues with the turn table and now, just completely stopped working. There is power to the machine, but it’s completely dead. It’s probably 12 years old, but my biggest complaint is how hard it is to open the door. It’s ridiculous.

We love our Advantium

Very impressed with this appliance. Pricey relative to other microwaves, but fantastic because it does so many things so well. Just about everything we've cooked in it--by microwave, convection, speed-cooking--has come out the best we've had it.

Advantium Oven

I bought this oven to replace a GE Advantium Oven that was only 2 1/2 years old and stopped working due to a bad mother board. It could not be repaired because the welded hinges on the door sagged and prevented the door from making good enough contact to allow the new mother board to work. This was extremely disappointing. GE customer service was extremely helpful and worked with me to obtain a new oven at a discounted price. I hope this oven lasts longer than the first one.
