More than just a microwave oven!

We had never heard of the Advantium oven until we began looking for a new microwave. We wanted a convection type microwave. When we saw all of the features and advantages of the Advantium, we knew it was what we wanted. Not only does it function as a microwave oven, but it is a convection oven and a speed cook oven. We use it as our second oven because you can bake cakes, cookies, and bread in it. Also in the speed cook mode we cooked a beef roast to perfection in just 45 minutes! It uses Halogen light and heat elements too and bottom as well as microwave technology. It also is a very aesthetic appliance. It has stored recipes and space to store custom recipes. Did I say we love this appliance??

This is far beyond a regular microwave oven. It cooks with regular microwaves, but also combines microwaves with upper and lower lights in a speedcook mode. And then it has a convection bake setting. Fantastic appliance.

Nice unit

We got this to replace an older 1999 advantium. Noticed right away longer cooking times for the new one... Come on guys this is a very expensive underpowered microwave and the express cook takes longer than the previous model. The only up side is looks. Hope it lasts as long as it's predecessor !! Think I would go with the less expensive convection model if I had the chance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Necessary appliance

In December 2017 we bought our 2nd Advantium Oven. I never thought twice about which replacement oven I was going to purchase because we never experienced any problems with our 1st Advantium that we bought in 2004. Absolutely a necessary appliance. I love the features of a microwave, speedcook and convection oven.

great oven for a convection cooking, micro and speedcook which cooks with a special light and micro, food turns out wonderful and faster than a oven, had one since 2004 keep passing down old one for a new one

Reheats Pizza Like a Boss

This appliance is the single best device ever made for reheating pizza. It may also be the most expensive microwave on the market, but to quote 30 Rock, "the third heat" has made a noticeable improvement in my quality of life. It also does a fine job convection baking and many of the included recipes have turned out quite well. If I were building a custom kitchen, I would definitely get the larger 220-volt built-in model to be able to fit a large casserole dish on the turntable, but with a little baking-dish creativity family-size dishes are definitely workable. The vent fan is quiet and powerful, and works well in the "blow air outside the house" mode.
