Stopped working after 2 years + 1 month

I was warry about spending this much on a glorified microwave and should have gone with my gut. After only 2 years the thing is completely dead.

We truly hate to hear your Advantium microwave is not working; we know how frustrating that would be, especially when you’ve only had it a couple years. This isn’t the positive ownership experience we want to provide for you, and we’d like to help.
As the microwave isn’t working at all, you may want to check the circuit breaker or fuse to ensure adequate power is reaching the unit. Disconnecting the microwave completely from power for a couple minutes before reconnecting can help in some cases, as that resets the electrical components. Other troubleshooting tips are listed in the manual, starting on page 32: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-7000135.pdf . If you are not able to resolve this concern through troubleshooting, our Service Department is available at 1-800-432-2737. A technician would be able to properly diagnose and repair the issue.

Please bring back 240V Advantium Over The Stove!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE my 240V Advantium over the stove oven. Purchased in 2009, lasted 15 years! My kitchen is wired for 240V so the 120V version requires major electrical modifications, besides, 120V doesn't have the power for my daily use/abuse. Only use reg oven once/yr for 20# turkey. I'm sick!

Great Improvements from the 1999 model

I bought this to replace my Advantium I purchased in 2000. . This new version is chock full of features. I am already enjoying it and can't wait to try out all the new featers.

Convenient but with some drawbacks.

I love the concept of the Advantium, but it has some drawbacks. Broiling is very messy and I wish the microwave times did not have to be done in 15 second increments. I have used it to toast and cook and it does those well. Be sure not to touch the pans! It is nice to not have to use our big oven to cook certain things. Overall it helped clear up our counter by taking the place of a toaster oven and it does look nice. We'll see how a knob versus the old touch pad holds up.

Uneven cooking

Microwave and speed cooking cooks food unevenly, overdone on one side and top and raw in middle. Plus clock doesn't stay lit until door is opened or keypad activated.

Wish I could take it back

The 900w microwave is slow and wimpy. Same with the convection oven-slower than our large conv oven! Speedcook has very limited use. Anybody want this we’ll sell it for half price!!

Thought induction micro would be superior to a reg

Thought this would be easy to use. Use this tray for this, this rack for that, etc. wattage is lower than previous microwave. Popcorn takes much longer to pop that my previous GE microwave.

Control Panel Always breaking

I've own this microwave for 4yrs and the Control Panel broke within the first 3mos. and since then it has broken 3 more times!
