Awesome 2nd oven

This is our second Advantium OTR. Thought the first one was great, this "new and improved" model is FANTASTIC!!!!

Disappointed!

I bought this a month ago and after working for 7 days the dial stopped working! We have had service out 4 times since then and had to replace the entire front panel and mother board. Very disappointed!

Speed cooking not worth the extra $500

We purchased the GE Advantium. We chose the Advantium to have a second oven in a small kitchen, a microwave combination, and for the speed cooking feature to cut down on utility costs and cooking time. We are disappointed! The microwave isn't as strong as our old microwave. The speed cooking really doesn't cook food that much faster and it does create more clean up. The second oven option will be nice for large parties and Holidays. If the features would have worked like stated and reviewed, this would have been well worth the cost as opposed to remodeling or finding more space for multiple units. BUT.....it doesn't. Now we have a substandard microwave for daily use and an optional second oven to use just several times a year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Delight to Own

Recently moved, and had the same appliance at my old house. I realize that I can not live without this type of oven again!. It makes microwaving a pleasure and totally fool proof. The other features work just as well. It is worth every penny!

Best ever appliance in my kitchen

I bought this product about one year ago. We farm and I do a lot of cooking,baking and canning. I thought I needed a double oven wall unit in my kitchen, but did not really have the space and was surprised at the cost. I wasn't sure I would use them that much, but would be nice for holiday meals. Then thought about the double oven on the free standing unit and realized the second oven did not have as much cooking space as the Advantium. So I decided to go with this product. So glad I did!! My only concern was the turning knob, but after you get it home and use it, you will find it needs to be a knob. The only change I would make if I did it again is purchase the build into the wall unit, which I will do if we ever build a new home.
