Broke in the first mth

It broke a month after being installed and they started the warranty the day I bought it and took 3 mth to ship it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have nothing but praise for our purchase of the GE Profile Series PSA 9240SFSS. This is not our first one so when our old won died we immediately bought another one. It makes cooking so much easier. We love GE.

Need time to figure it out

We have only had this for a few weeks, but overall very good. It has been a lot of trial and error with cooking times and power levels. Still figuring it all out. So much to choose from.

Great looking but doesn’t work correctly

Received microwave after two month Covid delay and on time due to projection. This is my second Advantium oven and love the features for having three cooking methods.
This product will have issues due to its complexity so be sure to buy an extended warranty. The second day of use the display panel flashed with a code stating it has a short. Have to unplug unit to get it to reset.
GE dispatched a technician a week later. That was a little irritating since it is brand new. The technician ordered 3 parts to insure it will be fixed. This is taking a month to get all parts. Probably due to short Covid supply, so not total blame.
The concept of this product is good. GE needs to make sure it’s components are produced better with a longer warranty and stock replacement parts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve had one for years, so I’m spoiled

I can navigate very easily because I have had plenty of practice. Oval casseroles are recommended for speed cook, and they do work the best. I like that we are reminded which tray to use when we poke in the command. Small portions of cookies are fine, but use your GE oven for large batches to save time. The only issue I have: the Reheat function overheats, so keep checking your food. Yes, even with accurate sizes and weights.Be brave and use the programs, and also put in your own recipes. I used to have to turn on the fan to keep steam from harming the microwave, but this one has its own fan and it seems to know when I am using the range, so no more worries about that.On the website it explains how to clean your Advantium, so I wrote the directions in the back of the cookbook that came with it. Very handy, and maybe they can do that for the next printing.
