We love the Advantium technology

Nice looking microwave.

Daily clock display is not there. The old advantium that we had for 20 years worked quite well and clock display was helpful. Now we are missing that. GE can probably add that to the future models. Microwave function is very good. Speed cook function - we need more time to give an opinion. Convection cooking works well. So far, I like it. It is little too pricy. I hope we can enjoy it for another 20 years with no problem like the old one. One more thing. When ventilation is used microwave door gets fogy.

LOVE THE PROFILE ADVANTIUM MICROWAVE

I am replacing my GE Profile Advantium, I've had it for a 11 years and I just love all the features it has. I practically live in the kitchen and I used all my appliances. The fast cooking feature it has is a plus when you are having company and you like enjoying visiting instead of being in front of the stove. I highly recommend this microwave

Works good until it breaks

This microwave worked great until one day the handle snapped off luckily it was just before the warranty went out so they replaced it with a whole new door because you cant just screw a new handle in on this unit. Well the handle broke again in the same way. It is a flimsy plastic handle and cannot hold up to the force it takes to open the door. I’m not sure how it happened but the thing that turns the turntable cracked in pieces it is made of a ceramic like material and one day a weird vibration sound was coming from the microwave and we noticed the turntable wasn’t turning it stopped making h the noise once we removed the pieces, I tried to glue it but it didn’t hold (without the turntable working it cooks extremely uneven). The third thing that broke is the cover that goes on the top the plastic nubs that hold it in place broke off luckily it still sits there as long as you don’t bump it too hard. For the money this appliance cost I don’t think the handle should be so cheaply made to keep breaking. Maybe the other two things are flukes I wouldn’t buy it again unless I was assured the quality of the handle was improved and if someone could tell me why the turntable turntable thing broke.
