Versatile appliance

The best thing about an Advantium is that you can place your food into it, enter the settings, and walk away. It stops automatically when the food is done. No worries about overcooking as you would have if you left food under a conventional broiler or in an oven and forgot to check it. It also includes a convection oven feature which is very handy when you have a lot of food to prepare and your conventional oven is occupied.
This is my third Advantium. First one lasted nine years and we replaced it. I left it at my last house when I moved out. We liked the Advantium concept so much that we ordered one for the house into which we recently moved. The first two were 220V models. Our current one is 110V because 220V was not available in the new house over the range. So the 110V model works fine but it takes about twice as long to prepare food using the Speed Cook feature that uses a quartz and infrared lamp to do the cooking. Our favorite is salmon which cooks perfectly every time. If you are retired l as I am, the extra time is not an issue.
If you have 220V power available or can install it, that is the way to go.
Highly recommended.

When I remodeled my small kitchen, back in 2001, I realized I could no longer use a standard range. This is the second Over the cooktop oven I have had. I was so happy with the first one that, when it came time to replace it, I got another one! I used it for all my baking needs, from roasts to bread! So looking forward to using this new updated model.

This is our 4th Advantium 120, still one of the best multi cook above the range on the market. Would have given 5 stars if GE upgraded the inner and outer lighting to LED
