Still exploring, but I have a favorite function

Advantium oven is great. I already roasted a whole spatchcocked chicken. Great browning and surprisingly fast. But my most favorite and most used feature is the "Simmer" function to cook oatmeal. Before I got this oven, I had to hover over the oatmeal to stop things before it overflowed the bowl. Eventually optimizing the settings to avoid a mess. If I changed anything (quantity, bowl, amount of liquid, etc.) all bets were off. With the "Simmer" function, the oven sensors will lower the power to keep the oatmeal from overflowing no matter what. I set it and walk away with the confidence that a perfect bowl of oatmeal will be waiting after the beep. I eat oatmeal every day and make smaller bowls for the kids on occasion. I'm excited to try the recipes in the included book. It doesn't seem that easy to convert other recipes to this oven, but I'll keep experimenting.

Can do almost anything!

This is the second Advantium microwave we have had, When our microwave stopped working after 9 years, we did not look at any other microwaves because we were so spoiled with our GE Advantium. We use is for everything. My personal favorite features are the proofing function, the convection baking and the speed cooking!
