I bought this mat because the price was good, but I don't like the texture. I ended up giving this to my daughter (she is 6 and does yoga regularly with me) and getting the Gaiam Sol Premium-Grip Yoga Mat for me.

A little slick for being new, I'm sure it will get more abrasive after a few wipe downs and continued use, the thickness is great and not too heavy to carry around, nice manly colors too!!

I used the mat once and had to use towels to keep me stationary. I was advised by your customer service to clean it then try again but due to the material with which its made, it will be slippery. I don't understand why a yoga mat would ever be slippery. I'm going to continue to clean it and perhaps I will fair better in the future.
