For the price the product is great. The only issue I have noted is the rear discharge connection does not fit tight and can come loose when moving the unit.
Pros: easy to use

I have been using this dehumidifier for about a month now and like it very much. It does gather a lot of humidity, as I had to empty the bucket every day at least. However, when I decided to attach a hose, I was very surprised at how poor the connector is from the unit to a hose. Hoses screw into pipes to ensure a good connection, right? Well one end of the plastic connector that comes with the unit does just that, it screws onto a hose. The other end, however, is pushed through the back of the machine and into the drain hole. Then it is just wedged into place. There is nothing to hold it but a plastic flange that buts up onto the back of the machine. A small jostle and bingo, the hose comes loose and makes quite a mess. This is a great machine and the skimpy hose connector doesn't seem to fit the rest of the quality.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Bought this product to replace another LG humidifier that has stopped working after 5 years of pretty much continuous use. Previous 45pint model had a display that showed current humidity + humidity level machine is set to. Current model only has humidity level machine is set to. Liked the old control panel better. Other than that, it's been working fine.
Pros: Features/Settings

We bought this dehumidifier to dry the air in our basement during the summer months and that is exactly what it does. We empty an almost full bucket every morning and every evening on very hot, humid days. We have it set to run on the two hour cycle and on level 35 which seems to work out perfect for keeping our basement air dry. It did make a rattling sound when running so we taped down the carrying handle on the bucket with clear packing sealing tape and that took care of the rattle. We were not using the handle to carry the bucket anyway so it works out fine for us. So far we have been more than satisfied with our LG dehumidifier.
Pros: easy to use

I bought the 45 pint as a midsize and I am glad that I chose that size and not 30 or 60 pint. I use it in my basement and the bucket can be heavy to carry upstairs. I was surprised at the amount of water that the machine sucks out of the air. I really didn't think I had that much moisture in my finished basement. It works beautifully. One thing that I am happy about is that it does shut off automatically like it claimed. I was nervous about having it spill over. I set it to operate at 4 hour intervals and then set it at 2. It does shut off when the bucket is full. I have not tried to use the hose attachment, but I did read that some reviewers thought that it was skimpy. That is why I only gave it a "good" on the features. I checked and the hose does look like it wouldn't last too long. Otherwise, I am pleased with this appliance, and I would recommend everyone who has a basement to get one as I never imagined that I would be emptying out that bucket so often. Moisture does damage and it is best to remove it.
