This product worked great until it stopped working. Right after the one-year warranty expired ... imagine that. Go figure ...

We had mildew about a foot off the floor in the bathrooms and kitchen in our mountain home. We assume from all the rain we had this past summer. the humidiy is really high in the mountains anyway. It was real mess cleaning all of that up, but we did it and ran out as soon as we could a bought the LG dehumidifier. Well guess what it worked very well..no more mildew..so so happy with this unit. Thank you LG

good product for the money. seems to do a good job of
regulating the moisture before and after showers. (I have it placed in a large bedroom close to the shower.)
There's only a couple small details that could be better. One, is if it had an indicator of the house humidity in addition to the target humidity. Another is minor rattles and quirks such as an oscillating hum when low speed is used consistently. Switching to high speed, then back to low seems to help the problem.

I LOVE this dehumidifier, the humidity in my home was at 95% when I purchased this. It's now steadily at 50% but could be lower if I set the dehumidifier to a lower setting. I have a 1000sqft apt. and it keeps the entire apt. at the level I set it to. I the only thing I don't like, and the reason for the 4 star rating for "Features", is that it is not energy efficient, however, I have there has not been much of a raise in my electric usage and it runs 24/7.

One can find a cheaper dehumidifier but when you are depending on a product to keep your home free of mold as I am living in a 1850 built house near the Great Swamp

My second unit. The first one (similar but not electronically activated) would not turn back on after sitting turned off for the winter. I hope this one will turn on next year. It seems like a nice unit although setting the number between 35 and 70? was confusing. Only runs for a little while and then turns off. Thought it would run for a couple of hours at least and then turn off. What does the 35 to 70? setting do for it?? No answer in the instructions.

Unit easy to get operating and the 2 and 4 hour features are a nice to have. Only problem is removing basket and reinserting it after emptying. Would like to see 2 vertical handles on each side for easier removal of basket and an easier way to line-up for inserting an empty one. It's a little bit noisy but I can live with it.

Can't beat this product

Purchased this dehumidifier & with in 15mins after I deboxed , I had it up & running..that is a record for me. Usually I have to get my son to set up these things for me.It was as simple as 1,2,3. Thanks to LG's dehumidifier my basement is dryer that its has been . I hooked it up all by myself. Thanks again LG for making it easy for us gals to get it running
