works well in my studio apartment

I live in 500sq. ft. apartment in San Diego. I'm on the 2nd floor and have west facing wall windows. It really only gets hot in summer. My portable Air conditioner was easy to set up and control. its relatively quiet which is a plus being close to my T.V. I don't really use the remote but it is a nice feature. I've only had to drain the water several times but have figured out how to simplify the procedure. I've had it for 3 months and am pleased with it's performance. If you are looking to cool one or two rooms this product should provide the cooling you need without cooling the whole house.

EASY TO USE, AND COOLS AT IT STATES

Purchased unit for my son's loft in Los Angeles. He gets full sun, and the loft has no central AC. This unit cools his loft so comfortably and at an exceptional low noise volume on high. Was easy to install the ventilation requirement in the window, and it cooled the loft as stated on the box immediately.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

The current LP website states that they do not have this model but I certainly have one!
It is a very nice unit does really well with cooling and is quite attractive. I use it as a booster for my central air system and when we have a lot of company.

Very nice for our bonus room/upstairs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our unit when our son moved back home when he graduated from college. We moved him in the upstairs bonus room. The room has vents for the downstairs central unit was he was freezing us out downstairs. so, we purchased this unit. It has been great for us. Please remember to clean the filter every 30 days, it cools better if you do. Because we didn't want to have it vent through a window, we live in a restricted subdivision, we vented it out a vent on the soffit of our house. A neighbor has this same unit that they use when they entertain in the garage. we have enjoyed it. thanks
