Best AC Unit I've Ever Bought

I live in Central Maine and don't need AC often. I just finished building a 450 sq. ft. office in my walk-in attic and needed something to keep me and all my computers cool.
I have one window and the thought of putting in a window unit for only a few weeks a year did not sit well with me. I had stayed away from the indoor units for years simply because of the price.
Now that LG has made these more affordable, I decided I would give them a try and I'm very happy with my decision!
It was so easy to setup and looks great in my new office!
The only recommendation I would have is to buy one a little bigger than you think you will need to make sure it keeps up. I had a few hot days where it seemed like the AC couldn't keep up, but I heard everyone was having that problem, and to be fair, I don't have curtains on the window yet and still have a few areas in the office that may need to be buttoned up a little better to keep the cool air in.
I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others!

PURCHASED EARLY (MAY 2011) NO SOONER BROUGHT IT HOME AND INSTALLED IT THAN AN EARLY HEAT WAVE HIT. BOY, WAS I PLEASED WITH HOW WELL IT PERFORMED. STICKEY NIGHTS AT THE CABIN ARE NOW A THING OF THE PAST! IF THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE MORE CLEARLY WRITTEN I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5'S ACCROSS THE BOARD,BUT, ALAS, NOBODY'S PERFECT. FORTUNATELY MY LG CELL PHONE AND NOW AIR CONDITIONER HAVE PERFORMED FLAWLESSLY TO DATE. THANK YOU.
I purchased this unit about 3 years ago and it worked great for the first 2 years (summers). This year it stopped blowing cold air and gradually started blowing warmer and warmer air until it was basically blowing hot air. I would not waste my money on this unit again as it is the most expensive 2 years (summers) of cold air that I have paid for. It is too expensive to repair now. I will buy another brand to replace it. Has great feature though. Too bad that it does not work very long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had for some time and really only use in emergency situations. Needed during hurricane Irma. Never had issue running off generator and kept room cool.

Error Code CH02 - temperature sensor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this ac unit and used it for one season. Went to plug in and getting a error code CH02. Did a quick google search and found that I need to replace the temperature sensor. I am not sure where to purchase this part but currently looking to order the part and replace it myself. Figured I would post this information in case someone out there needs to know the reason for the Error Code CH02 .

Much Better than 9000 Btu Product

Much better product than the LG 9000 Btu unit I have. Three speed fan actually has some difference in the speeds, the oscilating air vent is great feature, the unit is very quiet when compared to 9000 Btu unit, and I like its looks and overall cooling performance is great.

we like it cold!

My husband and I love to sleep in a cold room and this air conditioner really does the trick. It's very quiet, has a nifty remote control and we love that the blower rotates up and down.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality

I bought it to help cool my insulated garage when I plan to do projects on the weekend. I only used it 6 weeks last summer and now it cools for about a minute and the compressor shuts off and the fan runs , then the compressor kicks on again and cools. So it's faulty, I'm not impressed.
