phone is good and easy to use.

I have had several phones and this phone has been very easy to use. I like all of the features as they are easy to use. Texting is the fastest I have ever had on a phone. One thing I don't like is that I have to charge the phone every day.
Pros: menus, games, camera/video quality, speaker, Wi-Fi capable, durable, ease of use, good for texting
Cons: battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Phone I've Owned Yet

This is the lost stable and responsive phone I have ever used. Most people who complain about MS' new mobile OS have never used it before. At work I have used Android and iOS devices, Windows Phone blows them away in terms of ease of use, stability, and (admittedly subjective) beauty. I love the Live Tiles feature of Windows Phone and the Metro UI! I Just can't wait for AT&T to start pre-orders of the Lumia 900!
Pros: tools, menus, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting, games, camera/video quality, durable, live tiles, windows phone o/s, ms office, xbox live, facebook integration
Cons: battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Want to love it but can't. Audio feedback/batt bad

I've been using HTC phones for years. Was excited to get my new HD7S. I now have a support ticket opened with HTC to add my voice to those encouraging HTC to admit they have a problem with the audio on this otherwise great device.
1st con: Hissing in the earpiece. When in a call, the hissing is annoying, but not completely impossible to deal with. Shouldn't have to though. The hissing is a bigger issue in my opinion when using a Bluetooth headset. The phone earpiece continues to hiss when in a call. If you place your hand over the top of the phone lengthwise from top to bottom, or place the phone screen under or next to a flat surface it will emit feedback with a squeal that definitely gets your attention. Since I store my phone in a slotted area in my car and use Bluetooth, this is a game-stopper for me.
2nd con: The battery drains extremely quickly. As I mentioned earlier, I have used HTC devices for years, and this one takes the cake for draining a battery. Goes half a day if lucky. Needs to be plugged in constantly, so get a car charger and carry your AC charger as well. You'll need them.
3rd con: Not a game-stopper if you use a case, but the back cover leaves a small gap (you can see the SIM card through it between the cover and the base of the phone). Again, a case resolves this problem, but sure looks like a lack of attention to detail from a company that has been great with previous models of devices over the years.
4th con: Camera button as others have mentioned is hard to push and very slow to react. Not sure what the deal is with it. Happens both with, and without the speck case I purchased from AT&T when I bought the phone.
I own an IT company, am an extremely heavy user of smart phones, and have years of experience using and recommending various models. I really like the performance of the HD7S phone and the great job it does with apps like Infinite Flight (great flight simulator), but the issues with the hissing, audio feedback, and the battery make it unusable as a primary phone in my opinion.
Pros: Wi-Fi capable, windows phone 7
Cons: battery life, durability, high pitch audio feedback, camera button, back cover

Good phone if you don't listen to music

Don't buy this phone if you want to listen to music on your phone. Zune will lock up the phone when the phone is in the lock screen mode and Zune tries to move to the next track. You basically get to listen to two sounds before you have to reset the phone by taking out the battery. Bing/google "Zune HD7 Mango crash" to see more details.
Pros: menus
Cons: freezes

This phone is great! After being a 2year owner of the Iphone and switching over I realized the Microsoft capability on this Windows 7 HTC was what I was missing in life. I will probably stay HTC before I turn to Apple again for my phone use. I use it for both personal and business and I am truly amazed. Plus the keyboard is wayyyyyy better!
Pros: tools, menus, games, camera/video quality, speaker, Wi-Fi capable, durable, ease of use, good for texting
Cons: limited memory

First-time smartphone buyer loves this phone!

This is my first time owning a smartphone and I love it. I have no need for Apple/Mac and wanted a Windows phone.
I was hesitant to buy this phone at first after reading some reviews about the call quality and a hissing noise, but, I have not experienced either. My call quality is great with no background noise or feedback and its very clear. My battery ran out pretty quickly at first, but after talking to some people, I turned off the wifi and bluetooth when I'm not using it and my battery lasts from about 7am to 10pm with casual browsing, texts and calls.
I really like the huge screen, the touch is really responsive and the layout is very organized and easy to use.
I don't know how I survived so long without a smartphone!
Pros: menus, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting, camera/video quality, speaker, battery life

call quality is horrible

i switched to this phone after getting bored of my iphone 3gs and i love the layout of the windows phone the battery life is acceptable, i get 6-7 hours out if it in a regular day of use. ant the only draw back to the phone which is a MAJOR problem is call quality you constantly have a background hiss and every so often you get a high pitched squeal that will make you want to throw this phone through the wall i don't know if its a hardware issue or a software issue because the problem is fixed when using headphones or speaker phone but you would think that this phone would be able to perform the simplest function of a phone without having to jump through hoops. i will be returning this phone today.i am very disappointed with htc/atnt for not acknowledging this problem
Pros: games, speaker, ease of use
Cons: limited memory, software bugs
