Works well and less trouble (and potential danger) than lugging around the gas tanks. Probably in our heads, but we miss the flames... had to convince ourselves it was REALLY hot enough - it was but it recovers slowly after opening to turn food. Seems as though hotter would be better but it will certainly grill a steak. Didn't make it heat-wise on really cold winter days - fine in the warmer seasons.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product is superior for cooking and it's value. Easy to assemble and care for. Was worried about the quality of the cooked food, but it is just as good as my previous gas grill. Size is excellent for an apartment.
