Some Minor Adjustments Would Make It Perfect!

I bought this grill yesterday and it is too early make a final judgement, however...I have some suggestions:
1) Manufacture a heat retaining, food grade cover to retain heat, especially in colder climates.
2) Or... manufacture the bbq in enameled thick cast material such as aluminum (cast)- either of these modifications would vastly improve the reviews and spread consumer happiness across North America!

excellent grill mine hits 550 -600 degrees works great would buy again the key is to pre heat grill

So Easy To Use

I was selecting appliances for my complete kitchen renovation when I came upon this grill at a home improvement super store. I wanted a four element electric cooktop with an additional grill/griddle section, but did not like the cost and space such a unit required. This grill was the perfect solution. I did not have to pay for the high end cook top or give up the additional counter space in my kitchen in order to have electric grilling capabilities . I love this grill. It is convenient, easy to use, the food tastes great, and clean up is a breeze.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Waiting Game

I bought this grill last year and recently started using it again. I'm so frustrated at how long it takes to heat up to 550. So far tonight it's taken 25 minutes just to get to 450. It doesn't provide enough energy to heat up quickly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better off with a microwave

Mine worked fine when I got it 3 months ago. Now the temp will not go above 250. Took three hours to cook two cabobs. I am done with this

Thermometer Is Not Accurate

I tested the thermometer by immersing the probe in boiling water. It should read 200 at our altitude, but reads about 285.
