I hated it the moment I opened the box because you sent it without instruction, and it had hundreds of pieces and screws.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I do apologize for the manual being missing upon purchase. Have you called to register your grill and activate the warranty? If not please do so that we may replace it for you under warranty! You may also visit our website, www.charbroil.com, and type in your model number in the top right hand corner of the screen (in the white search bar). Once you have done that and have clicked search, scroll about half way down the page and click on the white tab that says “Manuals”. From there you should be able to review your manual in the preferred language.

I bought the Santa Fe some time ago, last summer I think. Assembly was a snap, only basic tools are required. I would not recommend this product as after assembly I fired it up and immediately ended up hearing popping and cracking sounds. I was hit with tiny, very hot pieces of paint that were coming off from around all the edges, and attachment points. Overall the Grill cooks wonderfully and assuming the paint issue was addressed at factory, then I would highly recommend the grill.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this grill to replace my older char-broil grill which I had for many years but was starting to show it's age. It was the same model I had currently. I was disappointed that it was smaller then the grill I already owned. The grill is top quality however and I love using it. Charcoal is the only way to go!

This the second Sante fe that have owned and I love it to death. I agree with an earlier review about the size being smaller. I wish they would come up with a better ash pan because they don't last that long.

Poor quality

I have owned 2 char broil grills, both have lasted between 8&10 years, great grills, I recently purchased a 615, I was very disappointed when I assembeld it. It is made out of a very thin gauge tin, half the thickness of my old grills. And it dose not hold heat well. You need to use twice the charcol.
