Poor Quality, poor construction, cheap components

I bought this to have charcoal and LPG in one unit because I grill or smoke with both using smoker boxes. The thermostat in the charcoal side has never worked. The gas regulator died on the91st day of ownership causing me to buy another. Now the front castors on the unit have collapsed because the metal they are mounted in is too thin with no support. The rear castors are fine because they are in a structure that includes the rear legs. The two cooking areas affect each other making it very hard to control temperature while cooking. This my third and final Charbroil Grill.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The bbq is great. I like the charcoal side, how you can adjust the charcoal rack. I always enjoy doing the charcoal bbqing, it gives good flavor. but it is great having the propane side as well for fast bbqing. the only downfall on this bbq is the charcoal tray, when it gets hot with the charcoal, it springs, and the pile of charcoal falls. I might reinforce it with some angle iron.

I bpught this about a month ago and couldn't ask for a better grill. I have the best of both worlds... gas ir charcoal. Arrived in great condition and easy to assemble. My 4 year old daughter and I put it together in 45 minutes. Another great grill from Charbroil.

I love my new combo grill, it is everything in one place. Hop out the door start, check, cook and eat. Love every moment. Thank you. Extra easy to clean. My husband, whose smokes meat often, gave this to me so dinner would be more fun for me. This has been my best Mother's Day present in many years.

i bought this grill over 6 months ago and it has never let me down. I prefer the charcoal side, as I have never been fond of gas grills, but when the outside temperature is below zero the gas side sure is handy.
