Good Idea/Poor Quality

We have owned this grill for about a year and half. We always clean and cover the grill when not in use. On the gas side, the bottom head shield is rusted through, the burner tents are showing excessive rust. On the charcoal side, the charcoal pan needs replacing. The front caster wheels broke off last summer. We use the grill 2-3 times per week. The grill cooks food very well, and it's relatively easy to clean. We really expected better quality from Char-Broil for the price of this grill. This is the second Char-Broil grill we've owned and we won't be purchasing another.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

loved my grill only lasted 2 summers

I really liked this grill bottom rusted out very disappointed. I live in the south were there's no winter weather

Rusted in first year.

Disappointed. The chrome handles and the grates rusted in the first year. Wasted $$$ on buying the cover.
Also the back 6” of the gas cooking area is twice as hot as first six inches. Poor gas jet layout.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Combo Grill

Have owned for just over 2 years. I loved the idea of the grill when I bought it and it was great the first season. The second season it rusted so fast on the gas side and now is rusted completely through the back of the firebox, bottom pan, burner tubes, all tents and grates. It has always been covered at night and during inclement weather and has been cleaned religiously. The charcoal side moving parts no longer operate correctly and the charcoal pan has warped. For the price it should definitely last more than 2-3 years. Time for a new grill!

Handles All My Grilling Needs

I bought this grille for the 2nd time on line. The first one lasted 6 years. It is perfect1/2 gas and 1/2 charcoal. Seems like Charbroil is the only one that has it. I’ve always used Charbroil- best value.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Help me "Bust the Rust"

Love the concept..love the grill. I do Voice Over work and I was going to give you guys some free advertisement on YouTube..but it would really help if my grill was heating properly without Holes in the bottom from the rust...FIX THIS...the grill looks great...keep it great.

Love the grill, but 2 yrs & it's all rusted out

This was a gift for father's day June 2016. The bottom, heat shields and grates have all rusted out. This wasn't a cheap grill, so I expected this to last many more years. It's cleaned after every use and the cover is used after every cleaning. My husband wants the additional smoker, but at this point we probably need a new grill.
This is a very easy to use, easy to control the temperature, and all around great grill. We've had quite a few over the years and decided to get a grill that we thought would last, so this is really disappointing.
