Nice grill/inferior parts

The grills works great. It cooks food evenly and cleanup is easy. The only downside is some of my parts have rusted out and I had to order new parts. The bottom heat shield on the gas side crumbled in my hands along with the grease tray and the grease shields that cover the burners. The gas side temperature gauge doesn't work. I keep it covered when not in use to prevent any rusting of parts. The exterior looks great but the parts exposed to heat and grease don't last long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got it as a fathers day present and less than two years in it has completely rusted out

Metal is cheap and disintegrates.

We purchased this grill because we loved the gas/charcoal combo. The grill cooks great but it does not hold up well at all. We purchased it in summer 2016 and have always kept it covered when we are not using it. We use it on average 1-2 times a week, depending on the time of year. The entire gas side has completely disintegrated. It started rusting shortly after we got it. We have done our best to keep using it but the back and bottom are rusting through now. It will cost close to 1/2 what we paid for it to get all the replacement parts. Our last grill, which cost 1/3 what this did lasted almost 15 years. I was very disappointed in the quality of this grill.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Critical advice for all users of this products: The vent screw (on the right) interferes A LOT with the charcoal riser's motion due to its length. This issue is easily fixed by mounting the screw backwards, which is a mandatory modification that I would recommend to all users.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not good at all

I purchase lest then three year and it rusted out wheel support it broke. DOT NOT BUY THIS GRILL

I got this for my husband for his promotion In march only 4 months later the Charcoal side is broken, I am really disappointed because I paid way to much for it to fall apart this fast.

Rusting

I got this for Fathers Day 2 years ago and the gas side has never seemed to get hot enough. So if you wanted to cook steaks you pretty much had to use the charcoal side. Now went to use it for the first time this spring and the burners have rusted through the hangers on the back. I am feeling like this grill was a waste of money.

Poor coating quality

I just received my gas charcoal combo grill and has a lot of coating defense. I had really high hopes, because my current Charbroil has 8 years with our any paint issues, I'm surprised about the poor quality of this one.
