I love my new frig. I was looking for something where I could put large trays for parties and this is the perfect solution. There is lots of room and the middle drawer is the best. I'm getting used to the bottom drawer freezer...boy does it hold a lot! Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase.

My new KitchenAid fridge has a lot to like. Tons of open space in the refrigerator and generous well-thought-out design for the freezer. Two nits: 1) the ice and water dispensers require a fair amount of pressure near the top of the lever and 2) there are no compartments for butter, etc. in the door. All in all, a value purchase.

Soon after I bought this item began to leak water from the freezer on to the floor. I called to have it fixed and they said they would send the replacement part, but not pay room fix it. This is a problem with many of ther refrigeratorso. I replaced the part and it is still leaking.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this model refrigerator in 2012 and thought it was a great refrigerator until this year when we returned from our winter home. We turned it on, installed a new water filter and all seemed right until, "no ice" the box was cold and seemed ok. We called a local repair service and was told the refrigerant was low and needed to be refilled. ok, $100.00. No leak detected. All seemed right again for a week when a loud noise emitted from the freezer drawer and again, no ice. Repair service returned, Condenser was iced up and fan blade was hitting ice. repair man applied heat to condenser and melted the ice and reset temperatures,(They were fine the first two years). NO CHARGE. A week later same thing all over again. Same company, different technician. After clearing the Ice, he told us that there was a leak in the evaporator and would order a new on, He looked at the warrantee and told us that the company (Kitchen Aid would pay for the labor and parts. no charge. It is now a week later, on parts yet, we do get ice, but the noise is back. This time I will melt it myself.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
