I am terribly unsatisfied with the ice maker on this model. It would stop making ice because an ice cube would hang up in the ice maker and it would not let the water flow therefore...no ice. It was replaced. This replacement is a little better but still has issues. The ice cubes sometimes bond together so the machine cannot pust the ice cubes through. 3 to 4 cubes stick together. I then have to open the ice maker to unclog it. Sometimes it will dump a bunch of ice on the floor if I persist in trying to get the ice to come through without opening the ice maker. I have never had this much trouble with other ice makers. You need to re-look at the design of this part of the refrigerator.
Pros: Convenient Features
Cons: the ice maker does not work properly
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love the features and the product was delivered without a scratch. However, a couple of weeks later the light (LED) went out. This light is not replaceable, and of course, should not have gone out after a couple of weeks. Then, quite mysteriously, it came back on again. We like the features but worry about these kind of issues.

Cons: Quality?

I waited years to by a new refrigerator and I am so happy with my Kitchen Aid.
I love the middle drawer. The freezer can hold at least 4 turkeys. The refrigerator
inside is so big I can fit platters of food, and a very large sheet cake too. I was told to stay away from the side by side since it cannot hold large serving trays, and I am glad I have my up/down.
