Had one issue with the ice maker within a month of purchase, but was fixed and the fridge, freezer and ice maker have worked well ever since.
Beautiful design. I really love the extra drawer to the fridge it comes in handy for fruits and vegetables

I just REALLY miss the larger crispers!
That Ice machine takes up too much room.
When opening the refer and closing if you open left door and close, it DOESN'T cuz it get caught up on the Right door.

The French door design was something we wanted. The middle drawer for produce/cheese is a nice way to get things without having to open both doors above. However, the space used by the ice maker in the upper portion makes for a tight squeeze at times and less room for tall objects. The bottom shelf of the two-door portion is great; room for a larger platter, etc. Easy to clean, keeps a steady temperature, no problems with the ice maker, and lots of room in the freezer. Overall I give it a 4 just because of the space limitations in the upper portion. Even that middle drawer can't compensate for that.
Pros: Innovative, Convenient Features, Performance, easy to use
Cons: only one storage bin in upper portion. tight space, shelf on left door is useless

Love it. Only thing I miss with this model is separate drawers for veggies and fruits. I would buy another with those features. However, there is room to store them in this one.

My husband bought and entire kitchen of KitchenAid appliances for us as we remodeled our house. This is the first time in 36 years of marriage that I have a set of appliances that match in every way, down to the handles. I love the look, but the refrigerator is not as functional as it should be. While it looks over sized, in fact it holds much less than our previous piece. There is not a specific place for produce, which typically takes up a bit of space for us. There are only 2 of us in the household, so we do not purchase a large quantity at any one time. We have had to resort to using our older model in the laundry room (thank heavens we kept it).
This new model cools well. It despences ice and water from the door in a quick manner, which I really like. The freezer is easily accessible. We enjoy using the outer drawer. However, I would trade some of the perks for some of the essentials (like a space for my fruit and veggies!!).
I do like KitchenAid products, I am just disappointed in this particular purchase.

I've been using this product since about a month now. I like the feature that for a glass of water or for a piece of snackyou don't have to open the whole regrigerator.i like the various compartments and drawers in the frozen section and how u can humidity control for some of theitems.

We purchased this refrigerator 2 months ago and have been very pleased with. Very roomy inside and the 4 doors are very convienent. The ice maker jams sometimes and that is the only reason that I did not give it 5 stars.
