Love that middle drawer!

I don't think I will ever have a side by side refrigerator freezer again. Having the French doors gives you so much room in the refrigerator. The freezer is large and the two drawers in the freezer makes it simple to get to everything. The refrigerator drawer in the middle is wonderful. We keep fruits and vegetables in it. So convenient.

WE PURCHASED THIS ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. IT IS THE BEST REFRIGERATOR THAT I HAVE EVER OWNED. We have had this refrigerator for 2 weeks and love all the space. It has really been humid and one day the ice stuck, but we reached up with a knife and it loosened it. From past experience, ice makers are touchy and this may be the only issue.

We love the ease of getting into the freezer and finding things without a hassel.
The front door water and ice cube works great and we always have ice available without it freezing up like our previous refridgerator.
The signal that reminds you you have left a door open is great for us especially when our grandkids are using it.
We are very glad we choose Kitchenaid appliances when we built our new home.

This is without a doubt the most sophisticated refrigerator we have ever owned. We chose it for our new patio home and love all the features. Unfortunately the freezer drawer was defective and we are waiting for a replacement part. Before we realized the problem it had developed ice buildup on the outside underside and when it melted leaked onto our hardwood floor. That has resulted in a slat warping and needing to be replaced.
The refrigerator itself is very user friendly and has lots of storage, even when we are throwing a party. The freezer is large enough that we were able to give our old stand alone freezer to our son.

Nice Looking Large Unit w/ great technology features

Positives are obvious but I will discuss 2 major flaws IMO that cost 2 stars for review. 1st and most annoying is how two swing doors close. There is a swinging arm that can get in the way when closing if put of position. Can get annoying and do damage to the arm over time. The amount of force needed to close is much more than avg fridge which means in a rush the doors are often left slightly open which is a huge waste on many levels and prompts an alarm beep which is good in theory but becomes very annoying and a testament to the flawed design of how the doors close. They should have created some sort of self-close mechanism to finish closing the door instead of the alarm. Leaving the doors just short of closed creates all kinds of secondary issues and one of which is the ice melting in the dispenser and leaking and it also refreezes against mechanics of ice crushing apparatus and breaks that if you dont break the ice up. Very annoying door mechanics are the main issue and should be thoroughly reviewed throughout any fridge today.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
