Best four door refrigerator on the market

I shopped long and hard with my daughter, looking at all the features on the four door refrigerators on the market. KitchenAid was the clear winner. The clear "floor" of the upper refrigerator section made it so easy to see what was in the refrigerated drawer. That is vital to me as I shop for fresh poultry, fish and meat and keep it in there for the work week, avoiding freezing these foods unless they aren't going to be used within three days or so. The way the freezer trays keep their position when the door is opened is also just great -- not every freezer has that feature and so you are forced to slide them forward every time you open that door.

Basically, I am just loving this fridge design! Overall it gets an A+. The (no-bending over) produce drawer is my very favorite part although I also really appreciate that it has an ice maker up top! It's what's we're use to and we don't want to give up that feature. For my personal use, the freezer is still larger than I need. I had rather have even more fridge space since I have other freezers that I use. That said, the fridge space is much more generous than my previous side by side had and I love that I can fit larger dishes or platters into it when needed.
This is a beautiful and impressive fridge. One guest admitted to having "fridge envy" after seeing it. I've had it for about 6 weeks and am still telling my husband how much I love it.

*The ice maker produces smaller cubes faster however it can only handle cocktails for two or maybe three people. We now keep an additional bag of ice in the freezer drawer for when we have guests.

We've had this fridge for about 4 months and really like it. It's spacious, quiet, love the water dispenser and extra drawer. Only negative is the ice machine seems to have trouble with ice getting stuck and the end product is always crushed instead of cubes.

I bought this refrigerator 4 months ago because I loved the looks of it & believed Kitchenaid to be a reputable brand. Now, after several months of daily use and attempts to clean it, I regret purchasing this model because it is missing the most basic features like 2 veggie/fruit crisper bins, removable glass shelves & simple ice dispenser. Although I love the external pantry door, I really miss having 2 crisper bins - I find it very difficult to keep the fruits & veggies fresh & organized with only 1 crisper drawer. The adjustable glass shelves are great until you try to remove them to wash in the sink. The shelves cannot be removed from the metal brackets, which makes it very cumbersome to remove the shelves & wash in a sink. Likewise, the 1 crisper bin cannot be removed unless you remove the attached glass shelf & metal brackets - who came up with such a horrible design?? The last comment I have is that everyone who has used the ice dispenser (in the door) has complained that ice shoots all over, ultimately making a mess all over the floor. Again, a terrible design!
