I specifically bought this model because of the independent refrigerated drawer - it is for deli or fresh veggies. I use it for fresh veggies. My vegetables are not staying very fresh in it for very long - celery was like cooked spaghetti after 2 weeks. Ice maker is Huge; takes up a lot of refrigerator space but capacity for holding ice is Very small so we a family of 5 ran out of ice in warm weather all the time. I have to buy bags of ice in warm weather - then takes up freezer space :-(. The good news is it has a huge freezer and I love the French doors.

We did a lot of shopping for refrigeraors but once we saw this KitchenAid we had to have it. We took all the measurements and found it would not fit where our old 18 cubic foot was installed. We went back to the dealer and looked at other models only to reinforce how much we liked the 25 cubic foot. We hired a cabinet maker to enlarge the space and took delivery of our new KitchenAid in January. We absolutely love the middle drawer, ice dispenser, filtered water and the drawers in the bottom freezer. All of our food is very organized and in summary, we love it.

My Dream Fridge

Everybody's favorite feature in our new custom built home is our Kitchen Aid refrigerator. Whoever designed this truly understood kitchen needs. Inside the double door is plenty of room. Previously, we were squeezed on both sides. The middle drawer is an inspiration and keeps our veggies, deli meats and cheeses very fresh. This bottom freezer is easy to reach, pull out and find things in, thanks to the shelves. I don't get excited about appliances or cars or electronics. I'm usually just happy if they work. But I cannot recommend this product highly enough. It is exceptional.

This refrigerator has so many features we don't use all of them (yet), but I love how the water dispenser displays the measurement in cups it dispenses. The middle drawer is super convenient and the narrow shelves on the inside of the left door are perfect for some condiments that sometime seem to get lost or pushed behind other things.

I purchased this refrigerator in December. Overall we are very pleased with the refrigerator and enjoy the middle drawer for holding deli products and vegetables. We rated as 4 stars due to difficulty in removing the ice dispenser tray as it sometimes sticks. Other than that, this is a terrific fridge that is very versatile in its setup.
