Why cant this phone have gingerbread yet? Nexus S has it, and is basically the same phone. Just seems lazy. BEautifull screen. Nice battery life. kinda choppy with the OS, no doubt to lack of Gingerbread and Preinstalled apps. And Homelauncher
Under consistant use, the battery life is only a few hours long. In standby it lasts. You need to manage which what you have running to avoid huge battery drain. The screen is great. Speaker phone is great. Music sounds great.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: poor battery life when you are using the phone, photos are not sharp
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ahead of the curve?

I had an iPhone and was lured away to Verizon LTE and the Android platform because Apple is slow to adopt the 4G LTE technology. My first phone was the HTC Thunderbolt. The network had its startup problems and the Thunderbolt had unacceptable random restart problems. Verizon switched me to the Samsung Charge after many complaints. My first week of having the Charge, the mobile hotspot didn't work. That was a very bad first impression. Now, I have also experienced several random restarts with the Charge. Best I can say at this point is, I like the 4G when it works properly and the phone has been Good but not Great. I will look hard at the iPhone 5 or 6 when they finally adopt 4G. Maybe Apple had it right to shy away from this technology until it has worked out the start up bugs.
Pros: Bright display, 4g lte
Cons: random restarts, hard to find a case with the extended battery.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had other Droid phones but this is by far the best one. The clarity of the display is amazing and the processor is crazy fast. It is super lightweight and has amazing battery life. Combine that with the amazing speed of its 4G capabilities and I could not be any happier with this awesome phone.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

LOW RAM

This phone could have been unstoppable if it weren't for the lag time you have due to low RAM. The phone has all high-end specs for a smartphone, and cost high-end. The phone slows down because it only comes with 328 mb of RAM on board. Phone is constantly in the 237 memory usage state leaving no room to multi-task.
