NEEDS GINGERBREAD & Better battery performance

This was a very expensive purchase. Overall, I like the device, however, cannot properly make use of the front facing camera without Android 2.3 due to software incompatibilities. Also, battery life is terrible. Many features need to be disabled in order to APPROACH reasonable battery life. That can be dealt with by purchasing an extended battery. But PLEASE UPGRADE THE OPERATING SYSTEM ASAP.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Third Replacement - Still Doesn't Work Correctly

I'm am on my third replacement Charge and it still does not work correctly. The first died within three months...the second didn't even last a week...this one constantly "drops" calls and data connections. What I mean drop is the call connects, we start talking, then suddenly the other person can't hear me. A dropped call without being a dropped call. Have to hang up and redial. The data connection is similar. Haven't moved an inch and poof no data connection, even though it shows it's connected. Have to restart the machine and/or remove the battery at least three times per day to reestablish the data connection. Also it frequently freezes requiring a restart or battery removal. A total wast of money.

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, contantly drops calls, constantly drops data connections, frequently freezes requiring restart

I was so excited to upgrade to this phone from my HTC Incredible. Out of the box, I was excited!! But after a few days with the phone I kinda wish I had my trusty HTC. I'll start with the bad:
The phone does not stay connected to my in-car bluetooth
Constantly needs to log into email
3G seems really slow
APP load time is slow
Browser is slow
No front facing camera support for most APPs
GPS Slow
YouTube out of sync

Worst Phone Ever

I can not believe the good reviews for this phone. I bought three of these phones and all of them have issues.
1) Phone is slow to respond.
2) Applications error out.
3) Phone still on older version of android.
4) One processor.
5) Constantly needs Charged
6) Sub Par performance

Unreal how fast this phone is..

Switched from the iPhone to the Droid Charge and I could not be happier. Phone moves so fast even on 3g speeds. Samsung makes great products keep it up. Battery life could be better but thats no big deal.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Solid Choice

I am an iPhone4 convert to the android platform. Im impressed with the world of android in general and with the Samsung Charge specifically. A little over priced without dual core. Battery life is not nearly as good as the iPhone, but not nearly as BAD as the HTC Thunderbolt. I used a friends thunderbolt for about 2 weeks to check out the Verizon coverage in my home area (rural). Overall a solid choice for a current (5/2011) smartphone.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: battery life

This phone Looks great and when its working is exceptional. but that happens to be very rare. constant issues with internet, bluetooth, and locking up. I have to restart the phone 2 to 3 times daily.

I have been having a great time with this phone since I bought it a few days ago. The difference between this and a Blackberry that I have used for the past 11 years is like night and day. I gave up tring to surf the web on the BB but now with the Charge I can't tear myself away. Typing on a touch screen takes a little getting used to but it is worth the price of change.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: very expensive
