This is by far the best phone I've ever had!! It does everything but cook supper, but ,hey, there's an app for that. It's really fast and the screen quality is way beyond awesome. Calls are crystal clear too. I would recommend this to anyone!!
I finally broke down and purchased a smart phone. I really the performance, look and functions of this phone. I have had 0 problems. Unfortunately, I do not live in an area with 4 G, yet it works well in 3 G. When I have used 4 G, I really haven't noticed a difference. Regardless, the speed is good and I have no complaints. Whether you are using 3 G of 4G, it is fast. I have streamed video and hooked it up to my 42 inch TV and it looks great with no blurring and without being choppy. Love it!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love my Droid Charge!

I shopped a while before choosing the Charge; I am a long time IT guy and when I buy technology, I want to get the best I can get in terms of techical specs, etc. I am a huge fan of the Android OS; I had Windows phones and will likely never get another one. The display on this phone is huge; love the built in keys below the screen that save screen real estate; 4G speed is amazing. I was very happy when Samsung/Verizon released Gingerbread for the phone recently - although it should have been released sooner. The only thing that would prevent me from buying a Samsung when my upgrade comes up is if Samsung/Verizon does not release the newest version of the Android OS soon. (Hear that Samsung and Verizon?!).
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, very fast 4g, great connectivity to cell towers
Cons: no emergency 911 button on the lock screen, a little thicker than some of the competition
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible phone

To put it short, this phone is terrible! It has a short battery life. The outer shell is this slippery cheap plastic. The battery life on this phone is the worst I have seen on the recent phones. The processor speed in comparison to other phone of the same magnitude is slow. I also really dislike where the button placement is. Coming from a Motorola X2 to this was a SEVERE disappointment. Really, the only thing good I can say about this phone is that it has both rear and front facing cameras that have decent resolution... but that it about it! Another bad thing about this phone is that when GPS is turn off or kicks out (for no apparent reason) the phone must be reset to get the GPS to work again. When "mobile data" is selected, it takes about 2 mintues to reestablish a connection. Both the X1 and the X2 took seconds!!!! This phone is poorly developed! Samsung, let me trade this in for something of much better quality PLEEEEEEEASE.
Pros: Bright display, has both 4g and 3g, dual camera
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, low battery life, built weak, slow processing, bad ergonomics
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good At First Then Downhill

This is possibly one of the worst phones that I have ever owned. It only worked about half the time, battery life was horrible, even with the extended battery. The OS would freeze often, take up to a minute to refresh after closing an application. Lately it would randomly resend text messages that I had already sent...
To be fair, I did get this the day that it came out. So some of these issues may have been fixed by better hardware in future versions off the line. I did go through multiple android updates and I just don't think this phone was ready for the challenge.
Pros: Bright display, Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations, extremely poor performance
