I brought this phone pre owned with litltle expectations. I had this phone for about 18 months and it was the best phone that I've ever had.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: battery got poor after awhile
I would recommend this to a friend!

The low marks are due to the self muting option that occurs with this device and Samsung never would fix.

Turn off extras while off charger. Battery will last that way. Turn on all features and see the battery last a day or less with active use. Turn off stuff and two days.
Otherwise...great phone!

This was a good choice for me. From my Fascinate to this was an easy move to 4G.
Pros: Durable
Cons: blurs yellow @ end of page., no communication with samsung in tx.

Almost but not quite there

Would not recommend this phone. My wife and I both have one of these phones and have been using them for about 8 months. We have both run into the issue where it becomes necessary to reboot the phone while talking to someone because the voice starts to sound digitized. The person on the other end claims to hear the sound breaking up. We have also both had the phones lag when trying to place a call causing the phone to dial the same person twice. Had also bought this phone thinking it would be upgraded to a newer android version and then found out it was not going to be upgraded.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, system lags, call quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
