Good smartphone, nice LTE starter phone

The Droid Charge has worked well for me. The Verizon LTE is *very* fast in areas close to an antenna, and good in most places I frequent.
Pros: Bright display

This phone was fantastic. It has a wonderful suite of features and is very solid in build quality. The performance is very good and I never had issues with it. The only reason I upgraded is because it was my last opportunity to upgrade without losing my unlimited data. So I got a Galaxy S3.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Awesome Android phone

I got this phone last year right after it was released in May 2011. I just sold it after having it for just over a year.
It was the best phone on the market with the best screen (yes, AMOLED), best speed - 4G and very good battery life.
I made iPhones look like antique.
I had it rooted until I sold it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

Only my second smart phone and I like the android platform. Had to replace the battery with a new one several months ago, but works great since. Really like the charging/docking station for this phone (bought separate).
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable

I got this phone over a year ago, and it was fantastic. I never had any real complaints. Yeah, the battery life was a little shorter than I liked, but I dealt with it. However, I lost my phone in March of this year, and the replacement I received has been terrible. It drops calls, fails to send texts, randomly "loses" the data connection and on top of all that, won't hold a charge. I can have it on charge the whole night while I'm asleep and when I wake up in the morning, it's dead. And when it DOES hold a charge, it's lifespan is ridiculously short. Almost three hours, and that's if I DON'T use it.

Cons: Did not meet expectations

Hard on it and only plastics frame cracked had almost 2years and im a construction worker

It might be a single core gigahertz processor, but it's still powerful and handles HD games quite well. The RAM could be larger, but it's not terrible, by any means. The storage space is ridiculous. Ridulously awesome! 1 GB internal (!), plus it comes with a 32 GB micro SD as well. (!!) The bluetooth works well, for both calls and data. The ability to use it as an external hard drive is a huge plus. On the negative side, it does tend to lag after moderate to heavy usage, whether it's calls, games, or run of the mill apps, it gets laggy sometimes. It does tend to lock up every now and then, which requires removal of the battery to correct it, but when it does work, it works well. Fantastic GPS unit. Wow. A lot of the problems stem from it being stuck with the carrier's bloatware. It just drags it down. If you could get rid of that, it would be fantastic. I'd still recommend it. Why? The 4GLTE is amazing. I had 17 MBPS download! (Yes, you read that right!) I love this phone.

It's just ok

I purchased the charge because at the time it had great reviews and seemed to be the next best thing. It's been ok and that's all i can really say. It's rather slow and glitchy.
