Love the Phone, Hate the Battery Life

I'm coming from a BB Storm2 to the Charge and overall, I like the Charge a lot. Beautiful screen. Nice design. But the biggest problems are 1. Battery life is terrible. I need two batteries or a mid-day charge just to get through at day. Have tried all the tricks (lower screen brightness, closing apps, etc) but its still pretty bad. 2. Phone lags more and more coming out of programs. Have done the "factory reset" which didn't help at all. I'm hoping Gingerbread will help, but it seems to be taking forever. For these reasons, I would recommend to some but not others.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: battery life lag

Nice Phone with one little issue

I got this phone about 1 month ago and i love the features, the speed and the way it looks but the only issue is when i shake the phone a little bit it makes a shaking around noise around the camera area and i paid $300 for the phone and i find it kinda stupid that i paid that much money for something with such a dumb issue like that. and i haven't dropped the phone once and it always has a case on it and a screen protector on it. If anyone could tell me y this is happening i would greatly appreciate it. Thanx

Cons: makes a shaking noise around the camera area

Great phone especially with 4G

Love the screen super clear. Would have put the buttons from the Facinate here instead. 4G on this phone is incredible.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: has physical buttons

Not up to par just a great screen on a middeling phone.

Great screen on a middeling phone. Constant crashes and reboots, really really needs a dual core processor.
I really wanted to love this thing, but its slow, crashes like an old 386 and for some reason the power and audio ports are not on the same side of the phone making it hard to use in the car.
Verizon tech support is polite but can't help or even let me know if an OS update is on the way.
Samsung has alwas been a good vendor in my experiance, but I expected better.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, unstable, poor port placment, poor connection
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The battery life is soooooo short, it is very annoying that it requires me to charge it 2 or 3 times a day. I use it for email, text, phone and bluetooth. Just with this it will only last 2 or 3 hours. I will never recommend this product to anyone. If you need the screen to be bright (mid way on the bar), it sucks up battery life; the bluetooth is on while I'm driving as it is required by law, it sucks up battery life. My husband bought another smart phone, and uses his like I do, and his battery life last almost 2 days.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, extremely short battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
