Good features, error on slimness: battery life POOR

Didn't realize how well BB did email until I went away. Android still has some catching up to do. The Droid Charge, possiblly Android, also does not multi-task as the BB did. The GPS radio drains the Charge very quickly. Perhaps the BB had a throttle built in to preserve battery. Considering an extended battery, unfortunately this would make my preferred case (Seidio Active) useless. It would be good to know what EXACTLY triggers the Auto/Home dock logic - especially as an extended battery looks like it also makes the Samsung Car mounting bracket useless. Nice to have the stats of what's eating the battery ... but it's probably not accurate. It's always 98% display - even when Bluetooth, GPS, and 4G clearly have their thumb in the soup. Good battery threshold: must be able to run GolfLogix for 18 holes: 4-5 hours. Be nice if it could still make a call afterward. Basically, the Charge bricks after 9 holes/2 hours. Do we really need a noise at battery full? Not nice to get random alert 2 hours after falling asleep.
I would love this phone if a few key features WORKED. My gps feature does not work. When I use applications that track my hikes my elevation is off by a HUGE amount. I live at about 900 ft and the applications say its 97 feet .I have tried multiple apps and this does not work . My email feature will NOT push to my phone. I have tried multiple fixes and test and it plan does not work. Email also loads extremely slow. I also am NOT happy with zoom feature on the phone. I love the application otherwise. My pictures done on the zoom feature is overly pixelated . I cant even use the pictures that I used the zoom on.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: gps and elevation does not work, email does not push to phone, camera zoom is horrible and over pixelated

overall I love this phone, the only feature Im missing from my LG phone that I wish was on this phone is the option to customize my contacts..i.e being able to forward contact directy to voicemail, but I could unforward when needed.
I did purchase the Charge when it came out and have been very happy with the quality of the screen. I can see my screen during daylight when everybody else cannot. Don't care for the physical buttons and hate the TouchWiz icons on the screen as you cannot customize them, only use another Launcher app. The front facing camera is useless with all Android phones until they upgrade to Gingerbread which we are still waiting. I don't understand why Google can't fix Google Maps to get your location faster as MapQuest has.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like what I have seen of my charge so far. The screen is very clear, and the only problem is sunny days outside in bright sunlight. The performance is great with 4g. I
Cons: hard to see screen in bright sunlight, optional case needs removal for desktop charger
I would recommend this to a friend!

The phone is great. I got it cause i wanted physical buttons but didn't want an X2. The two downsides are the price and how it hasn't upgraded to gingerbread yet which better happen soon.
