Great Phone With Only One (Major) Flaw

I totally love this phone so far- 10 days into ownership - and so, so wish it didn't have a huge problem connecting to bluetooth devices. Talk clarity is great, reception has been as good, or better than, my former Blackberry. My house is in a sketchy area for bars, so that is a plus. Am very impressed by its use of WiFi. And in parts of the area I live, I get 4G - which seems as fast on the phone as my broadband at home. Just wish it didn't have the bluetooth issues that many are experiencing...including myself.
Pros: Bright display, fast, good call clarity reception
Cons: bluetooth issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This Beats my old Blackberry Tour!!

I am impressed with the speed of downloading, the Google free navigation tool, and the downloading of my data from my Blackberry. I am a little depressed with the continually having to open the puzzel every time I get a call. I understand that it prevents me from accidently calling a number and have the other person on line get upset that you are using their air time. I'll get used to it. Lots of apps to choose from is a big plus. Much larger screen on my Charge.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color

No LED indicator for messages!!!!

Great phone... seriously annoying that it does not have an LED message indicator... its a LOSS not to be able to just glance at my phone in noisy situations and know if a message has come through...
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

Great Phone, little problems

This phone is great..The 4G works great but, it will drop calls. If you use a LTE switch this will solve the problem. But it is a pain to switch back and forth.. I would think this is a small software glitch that will be updated.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color

Great phone. The only gripe i would have to say, is there is not enough internal ram to keep the device from being sluggish at times.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, super amoled plus screen!
Cons: not enough interal ram

A good idea, just not up to the hype

Don't get me wrong, this is a fast phone with lots of capability. The problem is with the execution and the software. First issue, the phone portion of the device. This is this device's weakest link. Doing anything in the phone mode takes too long, there are delays everywhere. From the app startup time to the keypad appearance / disappearance, there are delays everywhere. Call quality also suffers on this phone with dropped calls, poor sound quality on both ends and with one-way communication happening from time to time. The antenna in this phone is not adequate as reception is a big problem. Couldn't even make a call in the NC Mountains while others could!
The battery on this phone has the highest mAh available in a mobile phone yet this phone can absorb all of the juice in just a few ours of serious use. My advice is to have plugs everywhere or spare batteries.
This device has minimal settings for notifications. On other phones, when messages are received, the phones would vibrate, beep or flash periodically to let you know that there is an un-read message or missed call. This device, devoid of an LED notifier, has no continued vibrate or beep mode for those who miss the first notification.
All in all, I like the phone, I just wish it were better executed and had better "Phone" performance and notification capabilities.

Lots of features

Has features my Blackberry Storm wish it had, however, I don't like the fact that when I put the phone in an aftermarket cradle for my car, and have the Maps app active, and take a call, the screen blacks out. I NEED my Maps app to stay active so I can find out which street to turn on. Other than that it's a really nice phone except when it opens stuff like the browser when I don't ask it to open the browser, or after turning it on it makes a loud beeping noise for several minutes, or taking pictures of the screen for no reason. Other than those BUGS, its a really useful phone.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, expensive to own/operate
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall this is a good phone with little issues. My biggest complaint is how it always hangs up on people when im talking to them the screen must turn on when it should stay off and my chin must hit the hang up button very annoying. The other thing I would like to see on this ph is a notification light when you have a missed call or text or email. I have to say though it has a good battery life for a big smart phone. I have had alot of smart phones and believe me i would know. The only other smartphone out there that had a good battery life and overall a really good phone was the original droid x but I like this phone as well.
