I Like the Droid Charge

This phone is superior to the Thunderbolt that I had previously. The screen is more vibrant, the touch screen is not as sensitive. The only drawback is the inability to use the front camera with Skype. Apparently that is due to the 2.2 version of the OS -- I hope an upgrade will be provided.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: can't use front camera

The overall speed is great, I love the screen size & the weight of the phone. Camera is awesom. I can't wait for 4G in my area, hopefully in September 2011!!

Droid Charge Smartphone

I am 98% satisfied with my Charge. (which compared to phones I've had in the past, is pretty darn good) I realize perfection is not easily obtained, but I come from a generation of entitlement and my expectations are high. My complaints about the Charge are small. It does not always connect to my vehicle bluetooth automatically. Sometimes the touchscreen is slow and requires more than one "touch". I would prefer multiple unique notification icons at the top rather than one icon that says I have 7 notifications. (I cannot tell if they are missed calls, texts, or emails.) But that's about it. The picture quality is fantastic. The screen color is bright and beautiful. The functionality is beyond my wildest expectations or needs. It comes loaded with tons of great applications. I can watch movies on Netflix on my giant screen. I use voice to text more than I type.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Too big

my Charge a love story

Yes, I admit it, I love this phone. At first I wasn't sure I really needed it, now I don't know how I did without it. The screen is fantastic (even outdoors), I play tennis and sometimes have to handle my phone in broad daylight, the charge is up to it. I also love it's speed and versatility. In short, I'm sold. I wish the battery lasted longer but I understand there's only so much you can do and maintain its sleek feel. I was afraid it would be too big, I love the size for viewing.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, looks very cool
Cons: more battery life

System colors are horrific!

Best screen on the market...can't believe Samsung chose these colors to show it off. Earth tones impress no one. I wonder how many pass on the purchase due to it. If you aren't using the phone or any other system communication screen you forget and are happy. Once you click on SMS TXT, phone, browser bookmarks, etc...eeeuuuwwwwww.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: two years of earth tones

Charge is by far the best phone I ever had

Coming from a Blackberry world, I was a bit worried about buying the Samsung Charge. All concerns were wiped away in a day or so. The Charge is by far the best phone I have ever owned.

This was an upgrade to my Samsung Fascinate, which I loved (even more so when Verizon finally upgraded it to Android 2.2). I upgraded to the Droid Charge primarily because I wanted the 4G speed and the front-facing camera so that I could make video calls (once Skype makes this available). Overall, I have become a huge fan of Samsung products. The design and features they provide are second to none, and this phone is no exception. The 4G download times are lightening fast, the Samsung software is very user friendly, but not so dumbed-down I can't make the changes and tweaks to my phone that I want to. The screen is huge and the colors and brightness are amazing, making watching Netflix or browsing the internet (or playing Angry Birds) a much more enjoyable experience. Unlike other phones I have owned in the past, I have never had to send a Samsung phone in for repair and this phone has not been an exception.
My only issue (and I was told by Verizon it was a Verizon problem, not my phone) is that they are still getting the 4G network up and running. So if I send a text message, it shows pending for about 5 seconds or so before it will actually send.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, great speed

Love this phone! Great switch from the HTC DROID to this. I liked that one alot, but I love this one! It's easy to use and navigate, and has awesome features...Would easily recommend it to others. Thanks! My only wish would be to have it get louder when using Tango...
