Samsung Droid Charge good & not so good

the phone is well designed, and attractive, This is my first smart phone and wish was easier to use -- the contact list is not consistent - sometimes it lists by last name first and other times by first name first - the ringtones are not loud enough for older people and the voice quality could be better as could the hearing aid compatibility. So older people will have to learn to adapt to the new cell phone technology
Pros: Bright display, Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations, voice quality

Great phone, but battery life short

I really like the Droid Charge. The features are great and it is so easy to use. My only problem has been with the short use time on the battery when using GPS. Also the car battery charger shutdown saying the battery was too hot.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: short use time with gps
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good feature set, but a little buggy

This phone has a great set of features, but as one of the first 4G LTE phones it is a little buggy at times. 4G is lightning quick. The screen is amazing and the camera takes great pics.
The phone does have some lag, due to single core and lack of RAM. Front facing camera does not work for video chat. Bluetooth can be a bit tricky for some to get connected, but I have had only 1 issue.
Overall the phone get better battery life than the other current 4G offerings from VZ.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

I bought on of these 2 months ago. After 1 month the first one lost its data capability and was replaced under warranty. Got the 2nd phone after i month the 2nd one lost connectivity and phone function. Thats 2 phones replaced in 2 months! Battery life is poor and cannot talk and surf unless in a 4g area. This was never mentioned by the service company.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, lifespan 1 month!

Droid Charge Verizon

Phone is very nice and fast. However VZW loads multiple apps that make it laggy and they do not do very many software upgrades. The phone should have Gingerbread working on it by now. Samsung should also help support with Kies. Their screens are the best. 4G is new and I believe there are many bugs to be ironed out.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, software up-gradeable
Cons: phone seems to get hot, force closed happens with many apk's
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far, so good!
I switched from a non droid phone.
I have never had the internet. I thought it might be hard to use. At first? yes, hard to figure it out. But, once you get the hang of it, you will find your self playing with it for hours.
I love the apps. I love all that it can do, especially the fact that it recognises and types out what I say. I Love it!

I like my Samsung Droid Charge because it is loaded with the most recent technology. The display is sharp and clear and the colors are very beautiful. The sound quality is also great. I would recommend this phone to my friends.

On Off Switch Not In a Good Spot

I've had the phone about 3 months and like it overall. However, the lock (on/off) switch is right where I hold the phone with my thumb and it is very sensitive. I would have put the switch on the top of the phone. It's a bit annoying but with time I'll get used to it.
My other complaint is that the battery doesn't even last 12 hours - even in 3G mode and with the GPS off. Very frustrating.
