I don't want to go into too positives as many people have already posted a lot of the same sentiments. I just want to state that there are too many pre-loaded apps that cannot be removed, hidden, deleted, etc etc. Also, I was hoping for the screen to be scratch resistant like the original Moto Droid and few other devices out on the market (maybe it's just me). Lastly, I would like to have easy access to a complete manual or inside look into all the functionality and capability of the device instead of having to scour the web for info, tips and the like. Other than those little things, I think Droid Charge is an awesome piece of equipment. Kudos Samsung.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, very responsive, fast
Cons: too many pre-installed apps, inability to remove pre-installed apps, screen not scratch resistant
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have owned the iphone 3GS and the iphone 4. Both are great phones. I now own the Samsung Droid Charge, and what a difference it is. First of all, I have large hands, so the phone fits just right. Not to big and not to small. I can customize the phone to my taste. The market place has all the apps that I need, including Virus protection and a PDF reader! I would be all day saying what I like about the Droid Charge. So I will cut it short and say, if you have ever owned a Samsung product, you know the quality and the pricing. If not give this one a try, I did and I don't regret it. I will continue to by Samsung products!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, fits my hand
Cons: battery life

Fast & Slick, But Sometimes Awkward

The best feature of this phone are the guided tours and user manual. I've found questions online at forums that could have been answered in just a few minutes had they read the user manual.
I don't like the security too much; having to enter a password or pin every time it wakes up. I would much rather prefer those security steps to show up only after turning on the phone in the first place.
And there is one design flaw that just drives me nuts. The on/of button is opposite the volume up/down buttons. When you increase or decrease the volume, you accidentally hit the on/off button if you're holding the phone with one hand. The on/off button should be on the top right (looking at the phone).
I ordered a dock for the phone, and I'm still not sure how it will hook up to a recharger since I've seen close-ups of the dock and I've not seen where it can be charged; however, what I'm really wondering about is whether while the phone is docked you can still use earphones.
I'm quite impressed with the speed and performance of this little gadget but the battery usage is dismal. If you're using the phone a lot, you have to recharge it often.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: design of on/off switch (opposite volume switches), battery life.

This thing incredible! It has never lagged on me nor has it ever frozen up on me either. The features are fantastic and the screen resolution it unbelievible. Crisp high-definition images make it difficult to believe you are watching a 4-inch screen. Attach headphones while watching a movie on Media Hub and you get realistic theater-like sound. I have owned numerous phones, including the HTC Evo 4G, G2 and the Iphone 4 and I can honestly say this is by far the most superior phone I have ever owned. To top it off it tears through downloads with Verizon's 4G-LTE network at lightening fast speeds. At first I thought I was using a wi-fi network! The only drawback is also a feature - depending how you look at it....this phone is super light weight and slim. I'm afraid that it might be very fragile due to it's light weight casing. Great if you keep it in your pocket but I'm very careful not to drop it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, fast downloads, doesn't freeze up
Cons: feels fragile
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the best phone i have owned. I previously had the first generation of the droid by verizon and thought it would be my last one, until i saw the samsung charge come out. As with any new phone you have to get use to it and its capabilities but so far I love this phone. Anyone who is considering getting a new phone or upgrading you need to check the samsung charge, you wont be disappointed
I chose the Droid Charge over the other Verizon 4-G phones on the recommendation of the salesman based on the gorgeous screen and better battery life. It was the right choice. It is fast, easy to operate, gorgeous to look at, and best of all -- it excels as a TELEPHONE too. Quibbles are few -- Battery life is miserable (though better than 4-G competition), phone is a little wide for comfort, the vibration is weak, and would it be too much to ask for a printed manual? Maybe a 4th grader can discover all the features of this phone on his own, but it is frustrating for me. Overall though, this is the first phone I have had that I actually have fun using.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, speed, operating system
Cons: battery life, weak vibration, no manual included, expensive

The phone is good if you want 4G. Battery life is not that great as with all 4G phones. It would be nice to have a dual core processor as sometimes android hangs up for a few seconds. Overal i am happy with phone, but i fyou dont need or want 4G, I would recommendgetting a different phone such as droid X2
Pros: 4g
Cons: battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!
