I love the phone except for...

This phone is wonderful with the exception of Samsung's Media Hub. The movie downloaded exceptionally quickly for 1.08 Gigs. The only issue I really have is the fact that Media Hub will only allow you to play the movie FROM THE DEVICE YOU DO THE DOWNLOAD. Now, I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't just buy the movie from some other online download site that will allow me to play it from the phone, computer, and tv.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, can't watch media hub videos other than on device.

The AMOLED screen is amazing

The Samsung Droid Charge is packed with features. The Brilliant AMOLED display is amazing to say the least. I am very happy with the Verizon support staff and the fact I finally have a reliable phone service.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product but no Netflix!

I have had this phone two weeks and am simply amazed. It works as advertised and you can get it to do almost anything a phone is capable of. The lack of Netflix support seems odd; however, rumor has it they Samsung is going to fix this issue. We shall see...

Great phone with nice features

Display is fantastic. Performance is great. Takes a while to learn all the features on the phone. Don't like the fact that Android comes with a bunch of software that cannot be removed unless you root the phone.

Almost a Great Phone

This phone freezes a lot but i'm hopeful that future updates will solve these issues. When I connect phone to my PC in order to transfer music, pictures and etc my apps within the grid view move around out order that I put them in. Also the media such as music (MP3) and movies (MP4) gives an error message stating that the media types aren't supported but with a reboot those formats play. Maybe an option alphabetical order within the apps grid view would be nice instead of the List view which is single filed. Switch between the home screens could be a little more snappier instead of the slight lag.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, built-in speakers
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice except battery life/ANDROID :(?

I am very appreciative and love the technology of this phone. However, it says with minmal usage of browser and other things that 71% of battery is used by beautiful display and 2 hours 53 minutes was the time that the display was lit (and that was on auto-brightness)
other than that , the RAM is max at 328Meg and I haven't figured out how to keep Android 2.2 Froyo from ALWAYS having apps open even when I have not used them. Where is the auto quit versus just using Advanced Task Killer. I will still search for apps to help this great device's power issue (of course an external solar pack etc is always available!)
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, excellent touch responsiveness, easy to hold but avoid power button
Cons: battery life, mono speakers, low ram available = 328meg
I would recommend this to a friend!

Phone is very very nice. Super quick, and ultra light. Screen is nice and bright, and responds quickly to my touch. Also, cant beat android :)

I have had this phone for about a month now and really like it. The display if fantastic and the speed is great too. The only drawback is that it drains batteries very quickly. Of course, i am running lots of applications, so that's to be expected.
Pros: Bright display
