Awesome BUT, pricey!

I guess when you are trying to get the latest technology you have to pay for it, but it was $50 more than a very similarly equipped Thunderbolt. I had a Fascinate and it was great, so I was very familiar with the Samsung brand, and the Thunderbolt got horrible battery reviews (not that this is much better!). Overall though it has been a great phone and I am really liking the features, mostly the 4g.
Pros: Bright display, 4g, great camera
Cons: expensive, battery not what is claimed, speaker is in the back, still 2.2, no camera strap connection
I would recommend this to a friend!

My Samsung Charge is a good phone everything I had hoped it would be with a couple of minor things that I would change. The changes I would have would be in the System files I would make them easier to get through. Another would be the none glare screen cover for the charge. instead of making it a sqaure, I would make it the complete shape of the Charges screen. I can't stand smugges on the edges around the screen protector.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: needs better fitting screen protector

Issues with wireless connections

Love this phone with one major exception. It regularly cannot connect to the internet.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, price for service
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So Far, So Good!

I am really enjoying this phone.
I have had it for a week and it is doing everything that I expected.
The Battery isn't great, but I have gotten used to just carrying a charger with me everywhere I go.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: battery
I would recommend this to a friend!

at first excited but then disappointed

Pros: It has all the things that a CELL PHONE has.
Cons: It does not have any of the things I PERSONALLY expected from a SMARTPHONE (see my summary)
Summary: I am satisfied with the standard features that you expect from any smartphone: 2 cameras, email access, calendar, good battery life (for a smartphone), texting. But i can do all that with a regular phone. I got a smartphone to do more but so far it's been one disappointment after the another:
- Qik video does not work (they are aware of it)
- Tango does not work for video chat (they are aware of it)
- Netflix doesn't have an app to stream video (they are aware of it)
- There is not app for Amazon video on demand
- Oovoo does not have an app for it either
- The LG TV remote control app does not work either even though I have an lg 50pk950 with a DLNA adapter
- I wish the phone could be adapted to my logitech boombox (which only works with apple devices) but I knew that already.
- Qik video does not work (they are aware of it)
- Tango does not work for video chat (they are aware of it)
- Netflix doesn't have an app to stream video (they are aware of it)

Conclusion: The lack of uniformity among all android phone manufacturers (input connectors, charging connectors, different app versions needed for specific devices, and inefficient apps) is going to cause their own demise.
I still have 10 days to return it. If my wife's iphone has better graphics I think I am going to return the charge

Cons: Did not meet expectations, netflix still pending, qik video still pending, tango still pending

Overall so far, seems to be quite a phone. recommend some type of case though, delicate look needs protected. When connecting to bluetooth Pioneer car stereo, only second day I had it, it forced a restart....disappointing. Also, rear speaker not so loud(spoiled from orig. MotoDroid)
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, rear camera quality

I have been on iphone for 3 yrs, thou i love the phone i hate their ITunes software. So i decided to try out android via Charge. Its just an excellent phone with good phone call quality , screen and video. I love android market place so easy to navigate.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight, android
Cons: battery, no hdmi out for media hub movies, plastic case compared to iphone4
